Camping at Fort Ebey St. Park
Our property near Tahuya State Forest has not been cleared yet, so we decided to camp at Fort Ebey on Whidbey Island. It was cold, but mostly dry. Good thing Steve brought lots of firewood! I was able to get in a couple of fun mountain bike rides while the boys (all three of them) played on the beach and at the Gun Battery. We all took a drive to Coupeville to find the "Ebey Bluffs" geocache - about 3 miles of hilly hiking along the Bluff Trail. Max did not whine at all! My birthday was on Sunday, so Steve fixed me a dinner of pocorn and beer, which I enjoyed by the campfire.
